“Disclosure Day” TV Spot Teases Its Aliens
Universal Pictures has released a new TV spot for Steven Spielberg’s UFO movie “Disclosure Day,” this one seemingly teasing the aliens that will be glimpsed in the film.
Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo, and Wyatt Russell lead the cast of the film, which marks Spielberg’s first directorial effort since 2022’s “The Fabelmans”.
The synopsis reads: “If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people. We are coming close to … Disclosure Day.”
David Koepp penned the film’s script based on a story by Spielberg, while Janusz Kamiński served as cinematographer, and John Williams is doing the score.
The project also marks Spielberg’s return to Summer blockbusters, his last effort in that field being 2008’s “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”.
Kristie Macosko Krieger produces “Disclosure Day” which opens in cinemas on June 12th.
